Get your 2025 Graduation Cap and Gown order in no later than March 7, 2026.

All graduating seniors are required to purchase a cap and gown unit, and all orders need to be placed through Miners Graduate Services. To order items, please follow these instructions:

1. Go to Miners Graduate Website
2. Select Graduation Supplies
3. Select La Pine High School from the drop down
4. Scroll down and select CAP & GOWN UNIT

Miners Graduate Services will be on campus on Wednesday November 19th, during lunch to help with orders, hand out items already ordered and answer any question students might have.

Wednesday, June 4 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm

Seniors need to complete the following checkout tasks:

• Return Media Resources: Check your home for any books, calculators, keyboards or other media center resources (iPads, bricks & cords) that have been checked out to you and return them to the Media Center.
• Pay Outstanding Fees & Fines: Log into the district TouchBase payment system to review any outstanding fees or fines. Use the instructions on the website to log in under each individual student. All outstanding bills must be paid for students to receive their graduation tickets and participate in the graduation ceremony. Fees may be associated with athletics, nutrition services, the media center, or other school services. See Office Manager Ms. Russell to make payments in person.
  • Questions about your library fines? Email Ms. Garcia.

• Complete Senior Exit Survey: This senior exit survey is used to collect data on our senior class including their plans after graduating. Students will need access to some of their college information for this survey, such as scholarships and award amounts. This survey is a graduation requirement and confirmation of completion will be part of your senior checkout! See Mr. Dulley in the School to Career office with questions.
• Locker Clean Out: This includes school and athletic lockers.
• Receive Caps and Gowns: All graduating seniors will receive their caps and gowns once their checkout is complete.
• Graduation Tickets (8) will be distributed at checkout for seniors to use in the event of severe weather conditions that would cause us to move the ceremony indoors (lightning and thunder conditions and/or excessive smoke). No tickets are needed if our ceremony stays outdoors as planned.
• Pick Up Yearbooks: Seniors who purchased a yearbook will be able to pick theirs up on Senior Checkout Day June 4th or at any date afterward in the LPHS Main Office.

Graduates will be cleared to walk once they have:

• Turned in all instructional materials (books, iPad etc.)
• Paid all outstanding fines or fees https://bls.fyi/payments or with Office Manager
• Completed the SENIOR EXIT SURVEY
• Completed all academic graduation requirements

Guidelines for Cap Decorations

• No inappropriate language or images, nothing hanging over edges and caps should look professional.
• Caps must be stamped/approved by administration in advance.
• LPHS admin has the final approval on all cap decorations.
• Replacement caps will be provided on June 5 or 6 for any caps that do not meet guidelines.

• Senior Awards Night in the Auditorium.
• We encourage ALL seniors and families to attend.

Friday, June 5th at 7:00 p.m.

Tim Tracy Field (LPHS Stadium)

• All are welcome and do not need tickets if we are outdoors as planned.
• Gates to the stadium will open for guests at 6:00pm.

In the case of severe inclement weather conditions (lightning and thunder conditions and/or excessive smoke)
seniors will have 8 tickets to admit guests into the gymnasium to watch the ceremony in person.

Graduates

• Graduates need to arrive in the Small Gym by 6:00pm.
• Personal items (cell phones, bags, purses etc.) are not allowed during the ceremony. We will store and lock these items during the ceremony and they can be picked up as graduates make their way to the parking lot to meet up with their family.
• Walking Partners: seniors will enter and exit the ceremony in pairs. Seniors may choose one (1) graduate as their walking partner and will be instructed on further details at the graduation rehearsal.
• Please review our Graduate Guidelines document for our list of expectations for graduation day. A few highlights from this list are:
  • Let’s have fun!
  • Follow all school rules and the dress code guidelines outlined in the graduate guidelines above
  • Graduates must be drug and alcohol free to participate in the ceremony
  • Seniors can decorate their caps, but must have them approved by admin in advance.

Guests

• All guest seating is available on a first come, first served basis. All other seating will be on the grass field.
• We encourage you to apply sunscreen and bring plenty of water to drink!
• We will have an identified area where umbrellas and shade tents are permitted.
• Prohibited items include but are not limited to Silly String, Beach Balls, Balloons, Noisemakers, Air horns,
• Firecrackers, explosives, or flammable devices of any kind.
• Our campus is a tobacco, alcohol, and substance free zone; these are not be permitted on school
• grounds.
• No pets will be permitted into the stadium. Working service animals are permitted.

Parking

Parking in our main lot is limited. Additional overflow parking is available on the north end of campus off Memorial Dr. and in the parking lots of La Pine Middle and Elementary schools. Once the campus and additional parking is filled, neighborhood parking will have to be utilized.

• ADA parking is available on campus on a limited basis. If you need ADA parking, please call 541-355-8400 to help us plan accordingly.
• We recommend that families carpool whenever possible.
• Parents, if possible, plan to drop off your senior at the Athletics entrance to save on parking space.

Guest Seating Options

• We have seating for over 1000 guests on a first come, first served basis.
• Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn/camping or foldable chairs for seating on the football field.
• We will have an identified area where umbrellas and shade tents are permitted.
• Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) seating will be available in front of the folding seats close to the stage. If you need ADA seating, please call 541-355-8400 to help us plan accordingly.

Restrooms

• Portable restrooms and wash stations will be available to guests near the entrance to our stadium.

Graduate Diploma Pickup

• Diplomas will be available for each graduate to pick up immediately following the ceremony at the exit on the south side of the auditorium. Be sure to pick up your graduate’s diploma!
• Diplomas must be handed directly to the graduate; they cannot be collected by a family member or friend.

Live Stream and Video of the Graduation Ceremony

• We invite family and friends to join in the celebration from home by viewing a live stream on NFHS Network of the graduation ceremony broadcast via your computer, tablet or smartphone. More details will be on the way as we get closer.
• We will have two large video screens at the ceremony to increase visibility of the stage area for all of our guests.

Walking Partners

• Seniors will have the opportunity to select a walking partner for the ceremony. More information TBA as we get closer to graduation.
